Second Machine Installed!
The residents at Longue Rue House are getting to grips with the computer. So much so, Margaret Le Blond (pictured right) had caused a bit of a stir, using the machine every morning!! I decided it was time for a second machine, kindly donated by Fast Fix Services. Margaret is very pleased with the new machine as she can continue to play card games every morning now while the other residents have a free machine to use for the internet!

Second Scheme Installed!
Following the success of the first scheme at Longue Rue House, I decided to extend the scheme to the Maison Maritaine. As you know from Julys news page, I have been in talks with Sure and Maison Maritaine. The residents were delighted to hear that they were too, being given a free computer with a wifi access point as well. There has been so much interest and conversation between the residents. I went to install the machine at Maison Maritaine today and was quizzed by various residents as to what they could do with it and how!

I took a few more names down to have a go! They have seen the success at Longue Rue and want to be part of that success. I only had my dinner hour to complete the install but made it through! All we await now is the broadband line from Sure Cable and Wireless. They have told me it will be next week. Soon as its in, we'll begin tutoring. More news will follow as it happens.
